Hence, reducing some substance needed to flow through kidneys is help to improve renal functions. Protein and some electrolytes such sodium, potassium and phosphorus belongs to such substance need flowing through kidneys. To reduce creatinine levels, a low-protein, low-sodium, low-potassium, low-phosphorus diet is recommended.
