At present, there are mainly three renal cysts treatments: surgery, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, oral western medicines. Each of them has both advantages and disadvantages. Surgery has a remarkable benefit in removing big cyst and remits patients’ condition quickly, but it may cause some risks during the surgery and removing big cysts is more likely to give more places for small cysts to grows, leading to patients falling into a vicious cycle between renal cyst and surgery. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy focuses on all renal cysts. It can help shrink these cysts without any side effect, but it needs a relatively longer time so the receivers should be more patients. Oral western medicines aim to control patients’ condition in the early stage. When some severe complications appear, its effect will decline.
