How to manage stress with kidney disease?

Stress is normal, and your physical response to stress, including faster breathing and heart rate, dilate pupils, tense muscle and raising of high blood pressure, etc. If left untreated, this kind of stress will damage the kidneys. It will become more serious for kidney disease patients who have hypertension or diabetes.

Some simple ways to reduce stress include:

-Listening music you like

-Take a relaxation technique or massage

-Regular exercise and more physical activity. Yoga, walking, swimming and Tai Chi are good choices.
