Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis is a common cause of primary glomerular disease in adults. Generally speaking, FSGS is a progressive from of kidney disease.

FSGS means a condition in which there are a part of glomeruli in the kidneys damaged, causing kidney function decline. Generally speaking, FSGS can be reversed, especially at the early stage of FSGS.
