2013-07-02 09:39

"I have ever thought that dialysis and kidney transplant are my only two choices to survive. It is the comprehensive treatment in China that give me a new hope to get rid of dialysis. Here, I am very grateful to my doctors and nurses" Tima Kaeyo from PNG said. From the smile on uncle’s face, we can deeply feel his satisfaction about his treatment.

Before coming to China

Because uncle Kaeyo’s kidneys has failed, he is recommended to do a fistula in Manila so his family members accompanying him to go to manila. However, the local doctor knows about the level of care back in PNG, so he thinks kidney transplant to be better. Therefore, uncle Kaeyo with his family member goes back to look for a donor. Then, they come across the problem of finding a suitable donor.

During this period of time, uncle’s condition has worsened. His creatinine level goes up to 1100 and his urine output is below 100ml or 200ml. What’s more, his poor appetite, nausea and dizzy also makes his family worried.

At this time, they know this hospital in China, through a relative, so they decide to try some new treatments that they have never heard in their own country.

During staying in hospital

According to uncle’s condition, the doctor give him a systemic treatment including Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, acupuncture, foot therapy, and so on. All the nurses and doctors treat uncle and his daughter as their own family members and answer every question they have in detail. Uncle’s daughter say that where even we are far from home, we don’t feel miss home.

After the treatment

After finishing the treatment, uncle’s urine output has increased to 850ml every day from 100ml, and he can walk a long time and have a good appetite. With the increased urine output, uncle Kaeyo can live without dialysis and kidney transplant.

We really hope more and more people with renal failure can get rid of dialysis as soon as possible.
