PKD & Kidney Cysts

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a group of disorders that result from the formation and progressive enlargement of cysts in the kidneys without dysplasia, usually leading to renal failure.

PKD: Is It Nothing to Worry About

2018-08-31 08:14

Question: I was diagnosed with PKD three months ago. But I was told that I shouldn't concern myself. There's always microscopic blood in my urine, and I wasn't given any forms of advice or treatment. When I asked about the pain I have daily in my back and flank, I was told I can't do anything. When original ct scans where done they told me there were cyst on my liver. Yet again I was told nothing to worry about. Is it really nothing to worry about? Please advice.

PKD: Is It Nothing to Worry AboutAnswer: PKD is a kind of genetic disease and it also can be caused by the acquired genetic mutation. This disease can cause various complications, like blood in urine, headache, hypertension, backache, cysts on other organs and so on. The cysts will continue to grow with patient's age and press kidneys, causing renal failure gradually.

The traditional treatment for this disease is operation to drain the large cyst, but it will leave alone the small ones. And this kind of operation will cause new damage to our kidneys. Pressure caused by cysts can lead to ischemia and anoxia of kidney and decline of renal function. Once the disease enters renal failure, dialysis will be needed. So this disease can threaten our life and I can not understand why your doctor said you need no worry??? Maybe your condition is not severe enough to take medicine. Once you have high blood pressure, anemia, proteinuria, and other symptoms, your doctors may prescribe you some medicine to take. What you should do now is just to wait the coming of these symptoms, and wait for kidney failure. This is not right. You should start treatment as early as possible. The earlier you start treatment, the more kidney function you can preserve, and the less likely for you to develop renal failure.

Treatment for PKD

Here we recommend you to try Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy. It can restrain the abnormal activity of renal tubular epithelial cells and lining cells to stop the growth of renal cysts. It can also increase the permeability of cyst wall and pressure difference inside and outside so that fluid can be drawn out, and then renal cysts will shrink.

-After about one week’s treatment, back pain will get relieved greatly.

-After about half month’s treatment, hematuria will reduce.

-After about one month’s treatment, your renal cysts will begin to shrink, and renal condition will get improved.

PKD is incurable, but it does not mean you can do nothing for the disease. You should start treatment as early as possible to prevent it from damaging your kidneys. For more information on PKD treatment, please leave a message below or contact online doctor.
