What Happened? The Doctor Made Him Develop Into Uremia

2015-04-25 07:29

What Happened? The Doctor Made Him Develop Into UremiaNurbol came from Kazakhstan. On August, 2014, Nurbol did a regular checkup, then the test reports showed proteinuria 1+, urine occult blood, serum creatinine 1.2 mg/dl (106.08 umol/L). But the local doctor said he had no symptoms with the abnormal symptoms, so he need to get continue observation and the doctor did no diagnosis and treatment for him.

Until December, nurbol began to have the symptoms of headache, high blood pressure 150/100 mmHg, proteinuria 1+, and his creatinine level was increased into 3.0 mg/dl (265.2 umol/L). The local doctor told him that his disease was chronic kidney failure. Then the doctor gave him some medicines to help control the high blood pressure, then his symptoms was relieved.

However, on February, 2015, Nurbol got a cold, then he began to have the various discomforts, such as headache, dizziness, fatigue, so he came to hospital. After the checkups, his blood pressure was 160/100 mmHg, hemoglobin level 110g/L, proteinuria 2+, blood occult urine 1+, serum creatinine level 8.5 mg/dl (751.4 umol/L). All these data refers that his kidneys have been damaged severely, and he need to take effective treatment to control these symptoms, and improve the kidney function. But the doctor only gave him some medicines to lower high blood pressure and phosphorus level. After a month treatment, his creatinine level was still kept within 6.0-8.5 mg/dl, and this means he is already in end stage kidney failure or uremia. He will be recommended to take dialysis soon by his doctor.

From above, we can know that it is just 7 months for his disease to develop into end stage from early stage. All these were caused by the unreasonable treatment by local doctors. If he took early treatment to control the symptoms, lower high blood pressure and improve the kidney function, he will not develop into end stage kidney failure. But luckily, he came to our hospital for further treatment to remedy his kidney disease. We believe, after the systemic treatment, his condition will be better and better.
