This is just a short dialogue between a ten years girl from Kazakhstan and a chief nurse fromPeking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospitalin China. However, behind this conversation, there was a very touching story.
In January, 2015, Diana and her mother came toPeking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospitalfor treatment. At the age of 3, due to retention of water in right kidney, Diana accepted surgery of cutting off right kidney. But, agony and bad luck did not get away from her. She was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease when she was nine. Because of lack of medical technology and instruments, uremia had been developed into when she came to China hospital. In addition, her mom, Jane, was divorced some years ago, and did her best to make a living by doing some homework to treat Diana. The life is very tough for both Jane and Diana. Jane never gives up hope of life, she is determined to make Diana live a good life.
After treatment for several months, Diana’s condition has been improved very well with no life threats. During treatment inPeking Tung Shin Tang Chinese Medical Hospital, she establishes a very close relationship with Chief nurse Qi. Nurse Qi gives Diana Meticulous care and attention, which makes Diana go to find her at the first time Diana opens eyes in the morning. Moreover, nurse Qi teaches Diana how to speak Chinese, do dumplings, and give her a cheongsam as a gift. Diana is very fond of this cheongsam, and she will wear it to take photos with many people in hospital.
