What does less urine output mean for kidney failure patients?

Kidney is responsible for producing urine. However, for kidney failure patients, their kidneys filter less blood within limited time. As a result, less urine is produced.
Lastly, for kidney failure patients, to increase urine output, both increasing bloodstream in kidney and improving kidney function are necessary.
